Emergency Shelter
The Emergency Shelter is now OPEN for all neighbors in need, 8:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. seven days a week. The shelter is located at the United Methodist Church of Sitka, 303 Kimsham Street. The shelter closes April 1, 2026 -- the last night the shelter is open is March 31, 2026.

Need help and not sure where to start? Come to our Office Hours on Tuesdays at the Sitka Public Library from 1pm-4pm to get help with housing applications, SNAP applications, obtaining Social Security cards, Birth Certificates, PFD applications, and more!
